CC Freedom Riders 4-H club had several meetings starting in late February.

In March we held our elected officers position and the following people were elected: President Jenna Hanlor, Vice President Danica Henderson, Secretary Sophia Ross, Treasurer Anna Malone, Scrapbook is Kaden Kimple, Safety is Jacob Weisenberger, and reporter is Kairi Hutchinson.

As April has approached with nicer weather we have held several meetings and demonstrations and working with our horses. So far in the April meetings, we have worked on showmanship, halter classes, grooming and dressing the horse for shows. One of the demos that was presented was by Liz Mann of Mann-o-Mann stables, who explained the differences and what to look for on a healthy horse.

At wach of our meetings there will be demos presented by a different 4-H person, and the demo will be of their choosing. The demo can be anything related to their project for the year, or even things they have learned in the past.
