CLARKSVILLE — Friends of Clarksville has completed the last remaining part of the Clarksville Community Park.

Silcox Concrete donated their labor to install the concrete entryway into the park. And local chldren provided their “supervision” of the installation to ensure that they would be able to get back in.

The Clarksville Garden Club continues their landscaping, and a ribbon-cutting and grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 7.

“We hope to be able to announce our next large project in the near future,” said Friends of Clarksville’s Wade Hall. “Presently, we are trying to get all the pieces put together. If this project does come together, it will be an exciting new addition for the Clarksville area community.
