Thelma Hubbard has been a faithful member and attendee at the Sabina Historical Society board meetings for many years.

A few years ago, Thelma became a trustee of the Historical Board. She regularly attended until her health didn’t permit her to climb the stairs to the second floor of the municipal building.

To honor such dedicated service to the organization, the board presented her a Proclamation of Board Emeritus.

President Tom Mitchell traveled to St. Catherine’s Manor in Washington Court House to deliver the award to her this past April. Thelma’s daughter, Nancy, was in attendance to see her mother receive the proclamation.

This past January, Thelma celebrated her 97th birthday.
