Donations for kids at homeless shelter

WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Homeless Shelter sends a special thank you to the ABC Bike Club, Dalton Masonic Lodge #578, and Widows Sons – Sons of Tyre for their recent donation of $1,148 to help children living at the shelter.

Support from these special supporters began over 20 years ago — and they have raised more than $25,000.

Each year, members of the three organizations visit the shelter to deliver a monetary donation to help provide support for children.

Donations generated help kids in need of clothing, shoes, coats, school supplies, haircuts, birth certificates, birthday gifts, and whatever else is needed to help families with children who are living at the shelter.

An average of 50 children under the age of 18 live at the Clinton County Homeless Shelter each year.

We are forever grateful for the many years of monetary support these three organizations are providing to help so many kids.
