WILMINGTON — Ohio Living Cape May recently named Michael Meyer, RN, Director of Nursing.

Meyer has nearly 30 years of nursing experience; he spent 15 of those years in long-term care and as a director of nursing. Most recently, he served as director of nursing at Pine Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation.

“I became a nurse because it was a way to help people,” he said. “I found my niche in long-term care.”

He also spent time as a cardiac critical care nurse, intensive care nurse, agency nurse and hospice nurse.

Meyer attended Cincinnati State and Technical Community College where he earned his degree to become an RN. He resides in Cincinnati; he and his wife have two children and nine grandchildren.
