WHS Class of ‘81 to reunite

The Wilmington High School Class of 1981 will gather the weekend of Oct. 22-23 to celebrate their 40th year class reunion. The schedule includes:

Friday, Oct. 22: 7 p.m., WHS Hurricane home football game vs. Clinton-Massie; 7-11 p.m., Tin Cap Hard Cider Tap Room Gathering, 59 W. Sugartree St.

Saturday, Oct. 23: 7:30 a.m., Class of 1981 Golf Outing at Elks 797; cost $50 per person. Locals on SSCC honors lists

Southern State Community College has released its President’s List and Dean’s List for academic excellence for summer semester 2021.

Clinton County students include: President’s List (4.0) — Wilmington: Emily Mendell, Samuel Ahrmann; Clarksville: Tara Bergfeld; Sabina: Joseph Elliott; Dean’s List (3.55-3.99) — Wilmington: Jessica Hurless, Mitchell Davis.
