Here’s what to donate to public library

WILMINGTON — The Friends of the Wilmington Public Library would like to thank the public for enabling us to have a positive response to the recent book sale.

However, the problem remains — too many books and not enough shelf storage space.

While we welcome donations, we ask that dictionaries and the like, Bibles, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks not be donated. The same is true for magazines and books in poor condition.

Unless a book is a classic, we ask that any book published prior to 2015, not be donated.

The Friends of the Wilmington Public Library would particularly like to thank Trent, a young man with much needed muscle, who gave up his weekend to volunteer. We could not have done it without him.
