WILMINGTON — The City of Wilmington has released the holiday trash pickup schedule for the remainder of the year.

There will be no trash pickup on Friday, December 24, which is Christmas Eve, or on Friday, December 31, which is New Year’s Eve.

Instead, the crews will be running a double route on Thursdays. Trash normally scheduled for pickup on Friday, December 24, will be picked up on Thursday, December 23. Trash normally scheduled for pickup on Friday, December 31, will be picked up on Thursday, December 30.

There will be no other changes to the daily pickup schedule.
