Generosity for our kids

Santa has struck again at the Clinton County Board of DD — this time through Shawn Bell and Melissa Hornsby, who hosted a live nativity scene at their Clinton County home, asking guests to make a toy donation for the children of the CCBDD Early Intervention Program.

Thanks to their generous gift, the children enrolled in December will be receiving a gift at their next visit! We would like to thank Shawn and Melissa for thinking of our youngest community members for their donations as well as all who gifted a toy for the project.

Introducing Latasha

The Clinton County Board of Developmental Disabilities would like introduce our new Community Integration Coordinator and Special Olympics Coordinator, Latasha Ruddle. She has hit the ground running with the help of Royal Z Lanes bowling alley in Wilmington, hosting a meet-and-greet event.

Everyone had fun bowling and meeting the Grinch who made a surprise visit.

Latasha has begun planning for several events in the coming future with the support of community businesses and organizations. These include Gym Goes at Planet Fitness, Pottery Pals at All Fired Up About Pottery along with some Special Olympics events.

If you are interested in supporting or participating in an event please contact Latasha at 937-382-7519 or [email protected].

Please follow Clinton County Board of Developmental Disabilities on Facebook to learn more about the opportunities for fun and integration in our community.
