Beatles, Dozers and Eagles, oh my! Classic tribute groups coming soon to Murphy Theatre

WILMINGTON — Classic rock ‘n’ roll and soul will soon ring in the new year at the Murphy Theatre.

• Hard Day’s Night is a top-rated touring Beatles band — from the rock city of Cleveland — that has been entertaining the masses in America and abroad since 1996. Taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, January 15, the band features the Beatles’ full catalog performances, wearing stitch-for-stitch costume replications playing authentic Vox, Hofner, Gretsch, Rickenbacker and Ludwig instruments.

• Always a big draw at the Murphy, Phil Dirt & The Dozers returns at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, January 29 with the classic rock ‘n roll of America’s golden years featuring the intricate vocal harmonies of the Beach Boys, Four Seasons and many more.

• The music moves into the 1970s and beyond with a return engagement by the Eagles tribute band Hotel California at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 19. For over three decades they’ve have been re-creating the legendary sounds of the Eagles of all over the world.
