ECMS students building TRUST

East Clinton Middle School students attended Project TRUST at Camp Kern for the first time in exactly two years — since November 2019. COVID protocols put a hold on the middle school camp aimed at teaching kids to respect and understand others.

The anti-bullying campaign was back in action with more than 40 ECMS students and three days and two nights of team-building and problem-solving. Students engage in anti-bullying education in order to hopefully stand up against negativity.

The ECMS Project TRUST team consisting of Laura Lynch, Steven Sodini, Andrea Davis, Andrew Ramsay and Alicia Gee thank the school administration, Jim and Sheilah Boland, and the staff at Camp Kern for their support in starting things back up after a two-year hiatus.

An additional thank you goes to Erik Moore and Alex Elliott for supporting the camp.

The next ECPT camp is scheduled for Feb. 23-25.
