Apply for Clinton County Fellows program

Applications are now being accepted for the Clinton Community Fellows program — a summer fellowship program in its 12th year — which was founded by Energize Clinton County (ECC) with support from the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and the Clinton County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC).

The program runs for 10 weeks starting in June and matches individuals in college or recent college grads with change-focused initiatives in the community.

The program was created to contribute to the attraction and retention of young professionals in Clinton County.

Additionally, the program seeks to provide the fellows with “real world” professional experiences in Clinton County and provide interested matches with affordable capacity and support.

All college students or recent college grads are encouraged to apply to the program. Applicants will be accepted and matched based on applicant skillset, background, and community project needs.

In its 11 years, the Fellows program has had 41 Clinton Community Fellows, that have contributed over 16,400 hours to more than 100 community projects.

Participants in the program are provided stipends for participation.

Applications are being accepted until April 15, 2022. Interviews will occur throughout April, and the program will run from Monday, June 6to Friday, August 5, 2022.
