Road closures and detours will be in place this month on U.S. 22 for culvert replacements, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 6, U.S. 22 will be closed just west of George Road SR 134 until approximately 3 p.m. Friday, June 10. The detour will use SR 730 and SR 350.

Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 13, U.S. 22 will be closed just west of Borum Road until approximately 3 p.m. Monday, June 27. The detour will use U.S. 35 to SR 729.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
