Pork Pride 4-H Club meets at Cuba Friends Church

The Pork Pride 4-H Club met at the Cuba Friends Church on March 20. There were 30 in attendance.

President Mikala Hatfield called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m. Ebon Louderback led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Gregary Achtermann led us in the 4-H Pledge. The officers introduced themselves.

Judy Hatfield gave the Secretary’s Report. Isaac Chesney gave the Treasurer’s Report. Terry Hatfield handed out the certificates from 2021, and also gave a few updates for 4-H.

Ashlynn Ewing did a demonstration on her trip to Disney World, Kennedy Space Center, a lighthouse and her first time on an airplane.

Braydon Throckmorton did a demonstration on 4-wheeler safety.

And Elaina Chesney did a demonstration on her new cooking set that she got for her birthday. Everyone did a wonderful job on their demonstrations.

Fundraisers were discussed. Community service was discussed and approved. T-shirt ideas were discussed and approved.

The next meeting will be on Sunday, April 3 at Cuba Friends Church at 6 p.m. Isaac Chesney will do the Pledge of Allegiance; Leah Chesney will do the 4-H Pledge; Jacob Furnish and Isaac Chesney will have demonstrations; and Madison Bronner will bring snacks.

The meeting adjourned at 7:07 p.m. The group then enjoyed the wonderful snacks provided by Ashlynn Ewing, who is the club’s News Reporter.
