Chapter F of the P.E.O. Sisterhood welcomed new officers at their most recent meeting. Outgoing President Lorry Swindler installed the following officers: Mary Kay Vance, President; Karen Buckley, Vice President; Mary Todd Hardeman, Treasurer; Leslie Holmes, Recording Secretary; Mary Ann Raizk, Corresponding Secretary; Suzanne Madison, Chaplain; and Jeane Wood, Guard.

New President Mary Kay Vance thanked Lorry Swindler for her four years as president and especially for her stewardship of the Chapter over the past two incredibly challenging years.

P.E.O. is an international women’s organization which promotes educational opportunities for women through grants, scholarships and low interest loans.

Locally, Chapter F’s annual nut sales raise money for these programs as well as the annual award presented to a Wilmington High School senior woman in memory of the late Jean Linton Heiland, her mother and sister.

P.E.O.’s fundraising was challenged by COVID-19 these past two years and local fundraising was suspended in 2020.

In 2021, the Chapter embarked on a new format for selling nuts. Now anyone can order nuts, along with a variety of other specialty candies, through the Chapter’s online store at https://peo-chapterf-oh-terrilynn.com .

P.E.O. Chapter F will receive a portion of those sales to be used toward their projects. Chapter members can still place orders to assist anyone. If there are questions, please contact any officer for assistance.
