Wind advisory starting on Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Wind Advisory in effect from noon Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday, according to the Clinton County EMA.

South winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected in areas including South Central, Southwest and West Central Ohio.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

Rain is also expected in the area beginning around Wednesday evening.
