Art House is your house, too

WILMINGTON — The Art House on West Sugartree Street made its official debut of its expanded space on Saturday.

Upon entering the facility, the shop space is on the left featuring items for purchase by local artists; at right is a seating area for families and a place for kids to play games and more.

There is also a community maker space.

Patrons can also take part in projects the Art House has set aside or they’re welcome to work on their own projects. “You can come here, pay for a few hours, use our supplies and not have to worry about cleaning up your kitchen or your craft room,” said Andrew Conarroe.
