WILMINGTON — The students in Wilmington’s first grade celebrate that they are now published authors.

The students wrote and illustrated original stories honoring the Holmes Elementary Kindness Week.

“I am proud of our budding authors,” said first-grade teacher Mrs. Thacker. “The students worked hard on this project and they were very excited to see their writing and illustrations in print.”
