Walk for Life set for this Saturday

WILMINGTON — New Life Clinic will hold its 28th annual Walk for Life this Saturday at the Wilmington Church of Christ at 909 W. Locust St., Wilmington. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the walk will start at 10 a.m.

The 5K walk will start at Wilmington Church of Christ and proceed through town, with stops at New Life Clinic and Point Park, before returning to Wilmington Church of Christ.

Once the walk is complete, walkers (and the public) are welcome to bring money and enjoy Baker St. Culinary Food Truck and Kona Ice Truck in the church parking lot.

The walk is open for anyone to attend. Donations will be accepted the day of the walk, as well as online at www.newlifesupport.org and then click on the “Donor” tab.

The Walk for Life is one of New Life Clinic’s biggest fundraisers of the year. All monies donated go toward the general fund to help pregnant mothers and families in the community.

New Life Clinic provides essential products for babies, in-person and online classes, maternity clothes, limited O/B ultrasounds and peer counseling. Services are free to anyone, regardless of income.
