Pork Pride 4-H Club holds meeting

The Pork Pride 4-H Club met at Cuba Friends Church on Sunday, April 10 with 27 in attendance.

President Mikala Hatfield called the meeting to order at 6:13 p.m. Stanley Chesney led the Pledge of Allegiance and Forest Leis led the 4-H Pledge. Kai Alexander gave the Secretary’s Report. Isaac Chesney gave the Treasurer’s Report.

Terry Hatfield talked about 4-H updates. Mikala Hatfield talked about Junior Fair Board. Fundraisers, community service and t-shirts were discussed.

Donovan Dalton did a demonstration on his compound and recurve bows. Gregary Achtermann did a demonstration on Monster Jam. Ava Fife gave a demonstration on the quilt she made.

The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at Cuba Friends Church. Leah Chesney will do the Pledge of Allegiance, Gregary Achtermann the 4-H Pledge, Jacob Furnish, Harper Furnish, Forest Leis and Tony Wilens-Mabry will have demonstrations, and the Chesney family will bring snacks.

The meeting adjourned at 7:27 p.m. The group then enjoyed the snacks provided by Donovan Dalton.
