National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with three collection sites in Clinton County.

The three area locations are the Wilmington Municipal Building’s parking lot at 69 North South Street in downtown Wilmington; the Blanchester Kroger store at 1001 Cherry Street in Blanchester; and the Uhl’s IGA Market at 444 East Washington Street (U.S. 22 / State Route 3) in Sabina.

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

Organizing the event in Clinton County are the nonprofit Talbert House, the county sheriff’s department, and three local municipal police departments.
