Wilmington High School National Honor Society inducts 28 new members

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington High School National Honor Society inducted 28 new members to their chapter on Thursday, April 21.

The guest speaker for the ceremony was WHS alumnus Eric Guindon, who shared his story of service, leadership, scholarship and character and how his journey led him back to live and raise his family in Wilmington.

Eric was also a member of NHS and now serves as the Executive Director for the Clinton County Youth Council.

The evening was complemented with the solo music performance of Nathan Wood.

Co-Advisors Jennifer Hatfield and Abigail Arace shared how proud they are of the students and their perseverance in achieving academic excellence and all four pillars of NHS during the challenges of the pandemic.

Congratulations to the new members: Addison Beckett, Taliah Billingsley, Brianna Brunke, Brynnley Bryant, Levi Cochran, Elizabeth Custis, Ashley Delph, Emily Gerard, Elizabeth Gray, Josie Heys, Oliver McDermott, Hillary Laforge, Keiana Murdock, Izabella Mybrugh, Bryson Platt, Trey Reed, Hannah Scott, Logan Shumaker, Addyson Smith, Alexander Smith, Lisbon Smith, Gracie Sutton, Jenna Taylor, Makenna Tolliver, Jeffrey Valentine, Grace Vance, Conner Walters, and Preston Zeigler.
