Girl Scouts host Teddy Bear Tea

BLANCHESTER — Blanchester Girl Scout Troop 45988 sponsored a Teddy Bear Tea brunch at Blanchester Grace United Methodist Church — with approximately 45 Girl Scouts and family in attendance — on Saturday morning, April 30.

There were Girl Scout Daisy and Brownie Troops from the Blanchester, Morrow, and Maineville area. The brunch was served with deviled eggs, chicken salad, peanut butter and jelly, salami cream cheese rolls, lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, various muffins, cookies, and many varieties of tea with sugar, honey, lemon and cream, as well as apple juice and water.

Josie Fruediger from the Cadette troop taught the younger girls about founder Juliette Gordan Low. The girls also learned proper etiquette.

The Cadette troop decorated the event beautifully. They even had games and photos for Scouts and their families.
