CHESTER TWP. — All Chester Township citizens who appreciate and want to maintain their beautiful township are invited to participate in the Chester Township Clean-Up Day on Saturday, June 11.

Volunteers will spend the day picking up trash along SR 380 beginning at New Burlington Road, and ending at the township line. There will be two shifts: 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m.

Vests, grippers, gloves and trash bags will be supplied by Clinton County Solid Waste Management District.

Participants will receive a free custom-designed T-shirt upon sign-in — and all participants will be entered to win a $500 cash prize for their participation. (You must be present both at sign-in and sign-out to be eligible for the cash prize).

Snacks and drinks will be available at the firehouse.

To receive a T-shirt at sign-in, you must pre-register on the Chester Township website at https://ctvfd911.org under the Events Menu at the top, with name, T-shirt size, and shift desired. Deadline to pre-register is May 31.
