A project to replace two culverts on State Route 72 in Clinton County is scheduled to begin soon, requiring a 19-day closure on the route beginning early next month.

On Monday, June 6, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Clinton County maintenance facility will close SR 72 between Sabina and Thorpe roads to replace culverts at the 12.25 and 12.71-mile markers, ODOT announced.

The closure will be in effect through June 24, and while SR72 is closed, traffic will be detoured via US 22, SR 73, US 68 and I-71.
