CMH serving community in many ways

Established in 1951, Clinton Memorial Hospital (CMH) has been providing quality healthcare to area residents for over 60 years. CMH is a 141-bed hospital located in Wilmington, Ohio.

CMH offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient specialized services, including emergency services, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, medical and radiation oncology, orthopedics, obstetrics, urology, ENT, diagnostic and interventional radiology and more.

Providing outstanding patient care is what drives every CMH employee– and often, that care doesn’t stop at the hospital doors. From fundraisers to professional partnerships, Clinton Memorial Hospital is heavily engaged in the health and well-being of our community.

Whether it’s the 5K fun run for a local charity, volunteer opportunities, helping fellow organizations who align with our mission, or donating to local events, CMH demonstrates every day that its giving culture has no limits. What’s more, these efforts are often 100% employee driven.

The hospital has a strong internal giving component. Leadership at every level within CMH strongly believes in providing support to worthy organizations within the community.

This year alone, CMH employees had a school supply drive and filled and donated 500 backpacks, a canned food drive and donated over 800 canned foods to Our Fathers Kitchen, employees and medical staff adopted 25 children through the Clinton County Ho Ho Shop, and donated more than 500 hats/gloves/scarves to community members, just to name a few.

CMH employees are passionate about community endeavors and love to play a role in giving back. “Clinton Memorial Hospital is very engaged in supporting both the community it serves, as well as the employees who provide that care.” Said Lance Beus, CEO.

CMH has given approximately one million dollars to various charities in Clinton County in the past 10 years. “CMH has been a staple in Clinton County for 70 years,” Beus says. “We are in the relationship business with our patients, physicians, vendors, each other, and in our communities. We are proud to support our neighbors in an effort to make our community healthier.”

In addition, we give back to our community by continuing to invest in our hospital to keep pace with advancements in healthcare through renovations, new equipment, and partnerships with other healthcare organizations.

We most recently signed an affiliation agreement with The Christ Hospital for cardiology coverage in our new $2 million interventional suite, we invested $3 million to renovate our surgical suite, and the addition of DaVinci surgical robot, are just some of the way CMH is committed to providing quality care close to home.

Future projects include; a new pain management clinic and behavioral health unit.

We look forward to many more years of serving the citizens of Clinton County, both inside and outside the hospital.
