Clinton County Municipal Court sentences

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by the Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the name of the defendant, age, location (if listed), charge disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which handles misdemeanors, traffic cases and some civil cases. Only the criminal misdemeanors are included here.

The following pled guilty or were found guilty of crimes between June 13 and June 17:

• Katherine Frederick, 28, of Washington Court House, theft and possession of a drug abuse instrument, sentenced 360 days jail (339 days suspended), fined $1,500, assessed $230 court costs, supervised probation, no contact with victim business except to write apology letter, pay $25.68 restitution, driver’s license suspended for six months. If Frederick is compliant with the terms, the court will suspend half of Frederick’s fines. A separate charge of theft against Frederick was dismissed at the state’s request.

• Matthew Woodruff, 31, of Wilmington, aggravated menacing and animal cruelty, sentenced 20 days jail, assessed $230 court costs.

• Robert Burris, 31, of Sabina, possession of drug abuse instrument and trespassing, sentenced 210 days jail (184 days suspended), fined $1,250, assessed $115 court costs, supervised probation, no contact with victim. If Burris is compliant, the court will suspend half of the fine.

• Alexander Jackson, 34, of New Vienna, arson, sentenced 180 days jail, fined $500, assessed $115 court costs, no contact with victim business, must undergo mental health assessment.

• Stacy Anderson, 36, of Sabina, criminal mischief, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $115 court costs, pay $200 restitution to victim, write letter of apology to victim, have no other contact with victim, complete 16 hours of community service.

• Paul Schwab, 33, of Clarksville, possession of drug paraphernalia, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

• Tyler Spurlock, 24, of Wilmington, obstruction of official business, sentenced five days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

• Katie Ford, 28, of Sabina, obstruction of official business, sentenced three days jail, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, no further violation for one year.

• Kenneth Spurlock, 36, of Clarksville, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $115 court costs.

• Cassie Sholler, 18, of Sabina, possession of drug paraphernalia, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

• Olivia Hayslip, 32, of New Vienna, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $115 court costs.

• Heather Trenary, 39, of Wilmington, complicity, sentenced 180 days jail (suspended), assessed $115 court costs, no contact with victim, probation to monitor mental health treatment, supervised probation.

• Victoria Carr-Ginn, 22, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $85, assessed $115 court costs.

• Sean Brooks Jr., 23, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

• Codey Claybern, 22, of Florence, possession of marijuana, fined $85, assessed $115 court costs.

The following had charges against them dismissed:

• Joshua Cromer, 27, of Lynchburg, possession of drug abuse instrument; charge dismissed.

• Tammy Holsinger, 52, of New Vienna, disorderly conduct; charge dismissed.

• Leslie Beatty, 44, of La Porte, trespassing; charge dismissed.

• Amber Dague, 29, of Hillsboro, possession of marijuana; charge dismissed.

• Derek Ritchie, 25, trespassing; charge dismissed.

• Donald Fannin, 40, of Pleasant Plain, possession of drug abuse instrument and public indecency; all charges dismissed.

• Kristian Burch, 27, of Wilmington, obstruction of official business, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct; all charges dismissed upon motion of the state.

Also in Clinton County Municipal Court:

• William Hamilton, 34, of Wilmington, charged with alleged aggravated robbery, was bound over to the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.

• Paul Mattox, 39, of Bloomingburg, charged with alleged theft, was bound over to the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.

• Andre Singleton, 32, of Wilmington, charged with alleged aggravated robbery, was bound over to the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.
