Antioch Road, Canada Road reopened

The road improvement project on Antioch Road has been completed and it is now open, the Clinton County Engineer’s Office announced.

Also, the Canada Road project is complete and that road has also reopened.

Weekly exercise classes start soon

Clinton County Community Action and Clinton Memorial Hospital have partnered to provide weekly exercise and wellness classes — to begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 — at the Wilmington Savings Bank Clinton County Aging Up Facility at 717 N. Nelson Ave.

The classes will give participants an opportunity to stay physically active or in some cases, to overcome their fear of exercise and begin being physically active.

Classes will be held every Tuesday in the Community Room from 8:30-9:30 a.m. with Physical Therapy Assistant Tim McComsey from Clinton Memorial Hospital.
