WILMINGTON — Fraternal Order of Eagles #224 Auxiliary held their annual Caring for Kids Car & Bike show fundraiser on Sunday also featuring raffles, food, and the bake sale.

“We are very grateful for all of our donors, participants, officers and members for another great Caring for Kids Car & Bike Show,” said Eagles Auxiliary Secretary Kathy Collins. “The weather was fantastic, the cars and bikes were stellar as always, and the turnout was amazing. We raised over $5,500 for our Caring for Kids charities.”

She added, “Thanks never seems enough, but please know that we appreciate the generosity of all who had an entry, the local companies that graciously donate, and of course the raffles, bake sale and 50/50 make it all worthwhile and successful.”

Auxiliary President Teri Trivet Batten said, “I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to those who participated in the Car and Bike Show, those of you who gathered the donations for the raffle, everyone who helped serve the food and cooked it, those who sold the raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets, Jammin JD who was the DJ, our bartender, and the clean up crew.

“Without you, our Car and Bike Show would not have been be a huge success.”
