Boots and Hats Summer Concert Series in Wilmington continues 7:30-11:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2— this time on Mulberry Street outside of the General Denver — featuring a country/rock jam with Nashville recording artist Noah Smith, followed by The Jesters. Food and drinks available; bring a lawn chair and enjoy. Sponsored by the Clinton County CVB and the General Denver.

Thursday, Sept. 8

Food for All mobile pantry distribution for Clinton County residents in need of food is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, September 8. Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio is partnering with the local community and distributing food at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 N. Mulberry St., Wilmington. All families in need from the county are welcome to attend. Picture ID is required for registration and once a year, a current piece of mail is needed for proof of address.

Friday, Sept. 9

3M Senior Men’s Club at Cape May — At 9 a.m. Monday, Judge Tim Rudduck is guest speaker sharing his experience in the rehabilitation of Clinton County drug offenders. New Vienna Oktoberfest 2022 is 5-11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday featuring food and crafts vendors and, in concert: Friday 7-11 p.m. Vinyl Countdown; Saturday noon-4 p.m. Teachers Pet Band; and Saturday 7-11 p.m. American Rebel. OktoberFest in downtown Wilmington on Sugartree Street 4-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Come to the DORA and stroll with your brew. Events include: 3 p.m., Fancy Free Cloggers; kids’ activities 3-7:30 p.m.; 4-7 p.m. DJ music; 4 p.m. wiener dog races; 5 p.m. wiener toss; 6 p.m. beer stein hoisting competition; 7:30 p.m. live music on the City Stage; 9 p.m. costume contest winner announced. Games of chance will be held at the Eagles #1224 just down the street.

Free E-Waste Recycling Event for Clinton County residents and businesses only 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Participants must pre-register at ClintonCountyOhioFoundation.org. Drive-through; volunteers will unload your items.
