WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the defendant’s name, age, residence if listed, charge(s) disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which administers the law in criminal misdemeanor cases.

The following list includes those who pled guilty or were found guilty between August 29 and September 1:

• Kara George, 44, of Harveysburg, theft, sentenced to 120 days in jail, fined $250, assessed $170 court costs. George must have no contact with the incident locations. Probation will consist of an assessment of George for treatment options that might begin after September 19, and random drug tests one or more times until the review date.

• Joseph Deboy Jr., 34, of Wilmington, reckless operation, sentenced to 177 days in jail (suspended), license suspended from Sept. 1, 2022-Sept. 1, 2023, fined $1,075, assessed $170 court costs. The offense was amended from an O.V.I. charge. Deboy must take part in reporting probation. If compliant, the court will suspend $375 of the fine. The license was destroyed. ALS vacated. Driving privileges are granted effective September 16. Additional charges of O.V.I.-high test and failure to control were dismissed.

• Grett Smallwood, 47, of Martinsville, domestic violence, sentenced to 120 days in jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $170 court costs. Smallwood must have no contact with the victim, must commit no further offenses in Clinton County for two years, and must complete non-reporting probation.

• Anthony Stevens, 36, of Wilmington, obstructing official business, sentenced to 90 days in jail (suspended), fined $750, assessed $170 court costs. The offense was amended from a failure to comply charge. Stevens must take part in supervised probation.

• Joshua Gates, 39, of Dayton, aggravated drug possession, sentenced to 90 days in jail (suspended), fined $500, assessed $170 court costs. Gates must commit no further offenses in Clinton County for two years and be monitored by non-reporting probation.

• Devan DiFrancesco, 33, of Morrow, reckless operation, sentenced to 60 days in jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $170 court costs. DiFrancesco must commit no similar offenses for two years and complete two years of non-reporting probation. ALS vacated. The offense was amended from an O.V.I. charge. Additional violations of marked lanes and distracted driver were dismissed.

• Kelly Pinkerton, 34, of New Vienna, reckless operation, sentenced to 60 days in jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $170 court costs. The offense was amended from an O.V.I. charge. Pinkerton must commit no further offenses for two years and complete two years of non-reporting probation. ALS vacated. An O.V.I.-low breathalyzer charge and a left of center violation were dismissed.

• Jackson Creamer, 41, of Sabina, domestic violence, sentenced to 10 days in jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $170 court costs. Creamer must commit no further offenses in Clinton County for two years and must have no contact with the victim.

• Amanda Melleby, 36, of Wilmington, domestic violence, sentenced to 10 days in jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $170 court costs. Melleby must complete eight hours of community service, must commit no further offenses in Clinton County for two years, and be monitored by non-reporting probation. An obstructing official business charge was dismissed.

• Jeremy Wilson, 42, of Sabina, driving under suspension-failing to appear/pay fine, fined $350, assessed $170 court costs. A domestic violence charge and a left of center violation were dismissed.

• James Scarberry, 44, of Wilmington, drug instrument possession, fined $350, assessed $170 court costs.

• Robert Zavalia Calix, 24, of Dayton, failure to stop for a school bus, no operator’s license, license suspended from Aug. 31-2022 to Aug. 31, 2023, fined $850, assessed $340 court costs.

• Kelly Cornuelle, 19, of Cincinnati, going 100 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $130, assessed $170 court costs. The case was waived by Cornuelle.

• Jennifer Shockey, 39, of Blanchester, marijuana possession, fined $100, assessed $170 court costs. The case was waived by Shockey.
