WILMINGTON — New Life Clinic will host its annual Fall Fundraiser at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 18 (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at Wilmington Church of Christ at 909 W. Locust Street.

A dessert reception will feature cheesecakes by Mel’s Creations and cookies by Sweet Treats by Emily.

The event includes a ministry update, client testimony and keynote address given by Amy Ford, co-founder and president of Embrace Grace.

Embrace Grace is a non-profit organization that has trained and equipped over 700 churches, 47 states and 10 countries to open their doors and hearts to women with unexpected pregnancies. You can learn more by visiting www.embracegrace.com.

Ford’s message to the pro-life community is all about showing pro-life convictions by being pro-love. This means showing that love through actions. This message complements New Life Clinic’s theme for the year of “Love in Action” by getting back to our roots and showering families with love during their pregnancies – whether they are planned or unexpected.

New Life Clinic is a pregnancy and parenting resource center in Wilmington serving anyone with pregnancy and parenting needs. These needs can include pregnancy and parenting classes, pregnancy tests, limited OB ultrasounds, maternity clothes, formula, diapers, cribs, car seats and more.

Every service New Life Clinic provides is free of charge. They are able to do this through donations, which make these events so essential in furthering this ministry.

Anyone interested in learning more about New Life Clinic and the ministry can RSVP for the event by calling 937-382-6588 or [email protected] by Oct. 4.
