Clinton County Municipal Court sentences 15

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by the Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the name of the defendant, age, location (if listed), charge disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which handles misdemeanors, traffic cases and some civil cases. Only the criminal misdemeanors are included here.

The following pled guilty or were found guilty of crimes between July 25 and July 29:

• James Higgason, 27, of Wilmington, trespassing, conceal carry weapon violation and possession of drug paraphernalia, sentenced 10 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $250 court costs, weapon forfeited, no similar offense for one year, unsupervised probation. A separate charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and charges of disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana against Higgason were dismissed.

• Jeffrey Shepherd, 50, of Martinsville, domestic violence and resisting arrest, sentenced 180 days jail, fined $1,000, assessed $125 court costs, write letter of apology to victim and victim deputy.

• Nicholas Bauerle, 25, of Midland, attempted voyeurism, sentenced 60 days jail (59 days suspended), fined $500, assessed $125 court costs, supervised probation, write letter of apology to victim, no contact with a certain person. If Bauerle is compliant, the court will suspend $250 of his fine.

• Jennifer McCauley, 45, of Wilmington, assault and trespassing, sentenced 180 days jail (suspended), fined $1,100, assessed $250 court costs, supervised probation, no contact with victim. If McCauley is compliant, $500 of the fine will be suspended. Two charges of disorderly conduct and one of resisting arrest against McCauley were dismissed.

• Jeremy Dugan, 30, of Pleasant Plain, theft, assessed $115 court costs.

• Juan Rosa Martinez, 28, of Cincinnati, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• James Sholler, 42, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Kelli Pringle, 26, of Wilmington, possession of drug paraphernalia, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Durant Peters, 48, of Washington Court House, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Alex Campbell, 28, of Sabina, possession of drug paraphernalia, sentenced 10 days jail (suspended), assessed $125 court costs. A charge of possessing a drug abuse instrument against Campbell was dismissed.

• Misty Collins, 36, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $20, assessed $125 court costs.

• Scott Woodgeard, 40, of Wilmington, criminal damages, sentenced three days jail (suspended), fined $150, assessed $125 court costs.

• Troy Henry, 43, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Halona Wisecup, 19, underage consumption, sentencing stayed until September 29.

• James Swartz, 32, of Avon Lake, possession of drug paraphernalia, fined $90, assessed $125 court costs.

The following had charges against them dismissed:

• Ashley Michael, 31, of underage purchase or consumption of alcohol; charge dismissed.

• Christopher Thompson, 28, of Greenfield, domestic violence; charge dismissed.

• Olivia Savage, 21, of Andalusia, possession of marijuana; charge dismissed.

Also in Clinton County Municipal Court:

• Steven Cordero II, 26, of Xenia, charged with allegedly failing to comply, was bound over to the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.

• Julia Whited, 34, of Bloomingburg, charged with alleged theft, was transferred to the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.
