BLANCHESTER — Longtime Blanchester Board of Education member Claire Ledford will be resigning from the board on Friday, Sept. 2.

She was first elected to the board in 1994.

“Mrs. Ledford was very appreciative of the support her family has given her and all the friends who voted her into office over the years,” said Board President Dr. Chuck Shonkwiler. “The board of education appreciates her dedication and commitment to public education. The advice and wisdom she has provided to the board has been invaluable to us.”
