Monday fire damages house

Wilmington Fire and Police departments responded to a house fire at the 100 block of Josephine Street around 6:24 a.m. Monday. Fire Chief Andy Mason stated that there the fire was in one of the walls of the property which resulted in damage to the wall and to the attic. There were three occupants inside the rental property, who escaped without harm. “We are looking into the cause of it, but it is undetermined at this time,” Mason said Monday.
