WILMINGTON — Wilmington High School senior Alison Dooley has been selected to represent WHS as one of the Wilmington Noon Rotary Club’s October Students of the Month. Dooley is known throughout the Wilmington community for her strong character and academic, athletic and civic leadership.

Dooley is a member of the varsity cross country and swim team and is a member of the Interact Club and National Honor Society. She is also involved in the arts having recently found a passion for photography and painting.

During the summer months, Dooley volunteered at the Clinton County Humane Society where she came to develop a love for the animals that make the shelter their temporary home.

Looking to the future, Dooley is undecided about the direction of her college and career path, but is strongly considering the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Agriculture, Art, and Planning, where she would study interior design.

Dooley will join other area Students of the Month at the Wilmington Noon Rotary club luncheon held at Damon’s Grill in Wilmington.

Alison Dooley is the daughter of Mike and Ruth Dooley.
