WHS students’ White Gift Campaign underway

WILMINGTON — For over 40 years the students at Wilmington High School have worked together to support local families in need, and this year is no exception. Sponsored by the WHS Student Council, the White Gift Campaign is in full swing collecting charitable and financial donations to purchase holiday meals.

WHS students are rallying for the cause once again this year and have raised the stakes to include a little friendly class competition. The class collecting the most in donations for the White Gift campaign will be treated to a lunch party compliments of the WHS Student Council, so students are working extra hard to raise funds bring in those donations.

Donations will be accepted through Dec. 12, at which time students will purchase, pack and deliver holiday meals to local families on Dec. 13.

Community members who would also like to offer their support may forward their donations to Wilmington High School, 300 Richardson Place, Wilmington, OH 45177, c/o Mrs. Mathney. Please making checks payable to WHS Student Council.
