WILMINGTON — The following report is generated from reports provided by the Wilmington Police Department. All those arrested are presumed innocent until possibly proven guilty in court. Incidents are presumed to be under investigation. Charges may be dropped or changed in court.

Wilmington police recently received the following reports:

• At 4:35 p.m. on Thursday, police were called to the 200 block of North Lincoln Street on a domestic dispute call. According to the report, the responding officer came into contact with a 51-year-old female and a 57-year-old male who were engaging in a verbal dispute. The two subjects advised authorities that they had been drinking since that morning and the two were arguing about cigarettes and money that belonged to the female that the male hid. The male said he didn’t. The female advised that he shoved her across the room. She didn’t want to file charges but wants the money, the report stated. The male advised he was too drunk to remember. The responding officer observed a large bulge in the bottom portion of the male’s sweat pants. The officer reported he checked the male’s person and located the missing money and cigarettes. The items were returned and the male advised he would leave.

• At 3:05 p.m. on Nov. 7, the dean of students at Wilmington College requested that officials come to her office in reference to an 18-year-old female student being followed onto campus. According to the report, the student advised a silver SUV with a black male driver with short black hair drove to her when she parked and called her “hoe” and said other choice words. She said she did not know the driver. She advised she was a victim of domestic violence and was scared of things like this. Police advised her if anything like this happens again to contact police.

• At 3:09 a.m. on Nov. 8, police were called to the 200 block of Grant Street on a theft complaint. A 33-year-old male from Wilmington told authorities that a Bazooka Amplifier and a Dell Tablet, valued at $700 in total, were stolen. Authorities have a suspect in mind.

• At 7:44 a.m. on Nov. 8, a 66-year-old male and a 59-year-old female, both of New Vienna, came to the station and reported that several pawn shops within Wilmington had pieces of their property. The male said his 36-year-old stepson stole them. The male filed a theft report with the Highland County Sheriff’s Office. A copy was obtained where it said he had pawned, among other items, a 1968 half dollar, a bottle of liquor, a trailer hitch assembly, a 13-piece deep well socket set, various tools, various knives, and other items. The victims requested that charges be filed on the suspect. Charges will be completed and a warrant will be issued.

• At 6:56 p.m. on Nov. 8 police responded to a report of an assault in the 200 block of South South Street. According to the report, the 27-year-old female victim told authorities that a 24-year-old male struck her with a gun.

• At 3:13 a.m. on Nov. 9, two juveniles were arrested for underage consumption and curfew violation on North Walnut Street.

• At 4:21 p.m. on Friday police received a report about a male juvenile putting his hands down a juvenile female’s pants at the high school.

• At 12:52 p.m. on Sunday police responded to the 200 block of North Wall Street in reference to an attempt to locate a loose white dog that, according to the report, ate four chickens belonging to the 29-year-old female resident. No dog was found.

• Police were called to the 300 block of South Wall Street at 9:13 a.m. Sunday about an alleged incident involving a person with a knife. According to the report, officials received a report about a 42-year-old female smashing a computer in an alley. The 40-year-old male reporter asked her to clean it up since it was near his property, but an argument began. She then entered a vacant residence that used to belong to her mother and came out with a knife and a pair of scissors in a threatening manner, according to the report. Upon arrival, the suspect was seen trying to disable the hard drive, stated the report. According to the report, the reportee made a comment about paying to have her tased. She said the comment was menacing and that she wanted to charge him. The officer advised that if he provides a written statement about the threat, she would go to jail. She stated she would talk to her attorney.

• Police responded to the 200 block of North Walnut Street at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday about a dog attack. According to the report, a 65-year-old female called and told authorities that two dogs had bitten her dog. Police made contact with a 61-year-old male who told the officer that as he was walking down High Street his dog was attacked by a German Shepherd and a black dog that were running loose. The male attempted to separate the dogs and was knocked down. The dog did have a gash on his leg. The officer contacted the dog warden about the situation. A citation was issued to the owners of the dogs.

• Lesley Curtis, 42, of Sabina for alleged theft.

• Buddie Scarberry, 36, of Wilmington for allegedly possessing drug abuse instruments.

• Joshua Williams, 37, of Wilmington for alleged contempt of court.

• Joshua Houser, 31, of Wilmington for allegedly receiving stolen property.

• Amanda Hensley, 33, of Wilmington for alleged aggravated drug possession.

• Ashleigh Myers, 29, of Wilmington for allegedly endangering children.

• Dylan Price, 25, of New Vienna for alleged theft.

• Kristina Snider, 39, of Clarkesville for allegedly possessing drug abuse instruments.

• Keith Allen, 28, of Blanchester for alleged possession of a control substance and for driving under financial responsibility.

• Dalton Garland, 24, of Wilmington for alleged domestic violence and assault.

• Edward Mowen, Jr., 25, of Jamestown for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

• Mark Hibbs, 36, of New Vienna, on seven counts for allegedly receiving stolen property.

• Lance Grotevant, 43, of Wilmington for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
