WPD SWAT arrests Dayton man charged with trafficking

WILMINGTON — A Dayton man was arrested Saturday night and charged with trafficking in drugs.

Raheem Goff, 23, of Dayton was arrested at around 11 p.m. after Wilmington SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) officers and Warren County SWAT officers stopped the vehicle Goff was operating in the area of Wal-Mart on Progress Way, according to Wilmington Police Chief Duane Weyand.

“This was part of a larger drug operation that remains under investigation,” Weyand said. He said that a juvenile from Dayton was with Goff, and added that “several doses of suspected crystal methamphetamines (ICE), fentanyl and heroin were taken off the street.

Goff is currently in the Clinton County Jail on a felony 3 charge of trafficking.
