Sugartree seeks non-perishable donations

Sugartree Ministry is entering its 17th year as a ministry and works with more than 30 churches, serving six hot meals a week and handing out groceries to 150 families a week at 180 E. BHS 1975, 1980 grads to reunite

Blanchester High School classes of 1975 (40-year) and 1980 (35-year) are planning a dual class reunion on Saturday, Aug. 8 rain or shine at the home of Paul and Lisa Crowe Jackson. Since the decades have “galloped” by, there will be a western theme. The host classes extend an invitation to all BHS alumni to “Polish up your cowboy boots and get your Stetson cleaned. Buy your stagecoach ticket to the greatest class reunion Blanchester’s ever seen.”

Due to the past great response of the classes of 1975 and 1980 invitations, this event has become known as “BlanStock.” The cost is $5 per person in advance or at the gate. Please bring your favorite covered dish or a dessert. Soft drinks and meat for the grill will be provided. Gates open at 11 a.m.

If you need a map or more information, contact any of these reunion committee members: Paul Jackson at 513-673-5800; Lisa Crowe Jackson at 937-509-0330; Joyce Kellerman Gray at 937-783-2066; Cathy Hedge Chowning at 937-364-0324; or Edith Cunnagin at 513-617-9380.(Please note: The spelling of Ms. Cunnagin’s name and her area code were incorrect in Saturday’s paper.)
