BLANCHESTER — A woman overdosed in her car and now faces possible multiple charges, according to Blanchester police.

At around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, Blanchester police responded to an overdose call at Tom’s Express Mart at 7529 Fairground Road.

Officers arrived and found Jennifer Wilson, 32, unresponsive and sitting behind the driver’s seat of her car in the parking lot, according to Police Chief Scott Reinbolt. He said a good samaritan was with her; an ambulance transported Wilson to Clinton Memorial Hospital.

“Officers found suspected heroin and a hypodermic needle inside Wilson’s car,” said Reinbolt. “The substance will be sent to the Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory for examination.”

Wilson was charged with having physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. She will answer that charge in the Clinton County Municipal Court.

Additional felony charges will likely be forthcoming after the suspected heroin is analyzed at the crime lab, said Reinbolt.
