‘Virtuous’ film, Lynch at New Vienna UMC

New Vienna United Methodist Church will be screening a new faith-based family-friendly film, “Virtuous”, on Saturday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m. In addition, former U.S. Army Pfc. and POW Jessica Lynch, who stars in the film, will be onsite to speak and sign autographs. The film also features Erik Estrada, best known for his leading role in the television series, ChiPs.

“Virtuous” is a multi-plot feature-length motion picture that highlights 10 unique ladies of different ages, backgrounds and life experiences. As today’s generation of women are vastly diverse, so are the various stories in this film. One such story loosely depicts that of Pfc. Lynch, who makes her acting debut. At age 19 in 2003 she became the first-ever rescued female POW/MIA.

There is no cost to attend this screening; however, an offering will be taken during the event. All ages are welcome. New Vienna UMC is located at 11576 SR 28 West, New Vienna.
