Grandma, granddaughter harvest turkeys

0

Youth turkey hunting came in April 22 and Hayven Reed, age 8, harvested her first wild turkey on youth opening day. Up at 4:30 a.m. and in the woods to hear the gobblers, her grandpa David Teboe made turkey calls all morning and seven hours later she got her turkey. Hayven’s grandma Carla Teboe shot her wild turkey two days later on opening day, regular season. Hayven, daughter of Brandon Reed, is a resident of Washington Court House. The Teboes are residents of Wilmington.
