Pinnacle welcomes new nurse practitioner

WILMINGTON — CMH Regional Health System and Wilmington Physicians Group have welcomed full-time certified nurse practitioner Cheyenne Gasaway who will join Pinnacle Primary Care in Wilmington.

“We’re excited Cheyenne has joined us at Pinnacle and know that she will serve our patients well,” said Greg Nielsen, CEO of CMH Regional Health System. “Cheyenne has worked at CMH for over six years, and her passion for taking great care of patients in our community is outstanding.”

Gasaway received a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master of science as a nurse practitioner from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Columbus.

She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent six years as a registered nurse working in various departments at Clinton Memorial Hospital, including emergency, medical telemetry, medical surgical, intensive care, and interventional radiology.

CMH will be welcoming her with a community open house 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, May 16. There will be light refreshments available throughout and a formal ribbon-cutting with the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome.
