Pack 777, Wilmington, holds its annual Raingutter Regatta

WILMINGTON — Pack 777 held its annual Raingutter Regatta recently at the St. Columbkille Parish Center in Wilmington. Seventeen Cub Scouts participated in the event.

Trophies were awarded in three categories: (1) fastest boat, (2) best design based on theme, and (3) most original design. This year’s theme was based on the song “Best Day of My Life.”

Winners in the fastest boat competition were: 1st place — Aiden Walker, 2nd place — Brylin Ruddle, and 3rd place — Trei Spei.

Winners in best design based on theme were: 1st place — Nathan Massie, 2nd place — Thomas Edwards, and 3rd place — Braxton Ruddle.

Winners in the most original design were: 1st place — Joseph Edwards, 2nd place — Christopher Edwards, and 3rd place — Greg Niederbaumer.
