A chair was set up at the Wilmington High School graduation ceremony in memory of Kimberly Sears, a classmate who died in a car accident in March 2016. The white rose is the class flower, while the teal-colored bow recalls Sears’ favorite color. Many graduates wore something teal for commencement.
