WHS Class of ‘57 set to reunite

WILMINGTON — The 60-year celebration of the Wilmington High School Class of 1957 will be held the weekend of July 28-29.

On Friday night, July 28, a picnic/carry-in will be held at class member Glenn Dupree’s Mapolegrove Campground on Prairie road. He promises an enjoyable evening of karaoke and more.

On Saturday evening, July 29, everyone will meet at McCoy’s Catering on Curry Road for a social hour and dinner.

The committee is looking forward to seeing classmates and anyone you wish to bring. Invitations will be sent out closer to the date of the events.

The class is looking for these classmates: Barbara Bullen Strickland, Phyllis Newton and Louise Peck Wilson. If you know there whereabouts, or if you did not receive the “Save the Dates” notification letter, call Bob Webb at 937-382-8233 or Forest “Sonny” Goings at 937-382-4013.
