Wilmington Elks Teen to Teen Scholarship luncheon held; 7 receive financial scholarships

WILMINGTON — At the annual Wilmington Elks Teen to Teen Scholarship luncheon, these scholarships based on leadership and community service were awarded.

The Wilmington Elks Lodge 797 awarded $500 scholarships to Chris Wolary and Alison Dooley. The Elks Golf Club awarded a $500 scholarship to Averi Vance. Generations Pizzeria owner Kerry Steed funded scholarships for the remaining scholarship candidates.

Steed was the guest speaker and spoke about leadership.
