WILMINGTON — Peoples Bank Foundation Inc., a nonprofit corporation formed to make donations in Peoples Bank market areas, recently announced it donated $3,000 to the City of Wilmington Parks & recreation.

“The addition of a skate park and splash water play area will provide safe play spaces for the youth of the City of Wilmington and will promote wellness and a sense of community,” said Edward Reilly, Peoples Bank Executive Vice President and Regional President.

The City of Wilmington park system has nine properties, nearly 200 acres and includes a wide variety of sports, playgrounds, trails, and conservation and picnicking areas.
