MB Financial donates to Habitat

Clinton County Habitat for Humanity is thankful for the community and businesses support over the years.

The support of the HFH mission have made positive impact in the life of many less fortunate families. The generosity of businesses, volunteer labor and donated building materials, are necessary in order to provide safe, decent, affordable housing in communities such as ours and around the world.

MB Financial Bank – Mortgage Servicing in Wilmington, represented by Fred Gatlin, SVP Director of Servicing Operation and Kathy Johnson, HR Manager, recently presented a check in the amount of $5,000 to the Habitat Board Members. We are grateful for community minded organizations such as MB Financial.

This summer the organization will be building two new homes in New Vienna.

The approved families that will be receiving the homes must invest their time in assisting in the construction of the home as a sweat equity, going through workshops and several other activities. The families of habitat will pay monthly Interest free mortgages for the homes back. Mortgages payments based on the cost of the construction and the income of the homes recipients.
